Some of us believe successful people become successful by chance, some describe it as been lucky and some term it as been fortunate. In lieu of this, they sit back and wait for luck to prevail in their life. Waiting for luck to achieve success is just like waiting to have a baby without having sex. Thou we've heard about a woman who conceived without having sex with any man. Yes she is very lucky and indeed fortunate. But will you also wait to conceive by that same luck - without having sex?
For every individual who become successful by luck alone, thousands have failed waiting to get that same chance. Success is what we plan for, prepare for, pray for and also work for. Success is not come by wit just a day effort but accumulated ones. The term success will never lower it's standard to accomodate us, we have to raise our standard to achieve it. For every bird God provide food but not in its nest! So, stand on your feet and search for success.

Because you know a student who pass SSCE without adequate preparation, a man who become rich without so much effort, someone who win visa lottery to travel to USA, the woman who conceived without having sex... and you decide to stay idle in view of becoming successful just like them. My dear, you are wrong. Be warned! Even a dead clock is usually correct twice a day. Yes a dead clock is usually correct twice a day. Will you now keep a dead clock just because it's provide you with correct time twice a day? Did you realise the number of times a dead clock fails you in a day? So never be like a dead clock.

Success recorded with no effort usually collapse in little time. As someone who never work to achieve success will not understand how to maintain it. Because the effort require to achieve success is also require to maintain it. Always strive to achieve success and pray to God to crown your effort. There is an old saying that sum it up by saying "heaven helps those who help themselves ".

But we know it doesn't worth keeping
So we throw it away
Start working and stop sleeping!

If you want something out of your day
You must surely plant something in it
Laziness leads you astray
And you will gain nothing from it.

Never wait for luck to achieve success
As there is no salary for who is jobless
You have to make effort and also labour
Before you pray and seek for God's favour.
